Some we tell to get out of trouble. Others we tell because they're more polite then the truth.

And others we tell out of habit; it seems easier then being honest.

But even little white lies can turn into a blinding blizzard.

Are you a truthful person, or is this something you need to work on?

Bad habits sneak up on us, and once they're formed, they're hard to break.

You can decied now to resist behaviors that might become harmful habits - such as smoking or using alcohol and other drugs.

Be confident in your decision not to experiment, practice saying no, and don't worry that other people might think you're wimpy or boring.

In fact, you're proving the opposite.

Have you ever had an idea that was strongly criticized?

Maybe people called it impractical or impossible.

This can hurt, especially if it seems that your idea didn't get a fair chance.

But instead of giving up, think positively.

How can you use the criticism to strengthen you idea?

Can you change your idea to make it more acceptable?

Work out some possibilities in your head or on paper.

Then take the idea back to your critics and see what they think.
